Eventbrite is designed for event discovery, registration, and ticketing. Harvi is being designed for the people, preferences, and planning around the experience. Those are related jobs, but they are not the same job.

Eventbrite is an event marketplace and ticketing platform. Organizers list free and paid experiences; attendees browse by location, topic, or date, then register or purchase tickets.

Fees and organizer terms can differ by country, event type, package, and the organizer's choice about whether to absorb or pass on fees. Eventbrite's official pricing page is the right source for current terms in a given region.

Harvi is a personal social concierge. Through conversation, Harvi learns your interests, lifestyle, social energy, and availability, then curates people, communities, activities, and events that fit.

Instead of handing you a large undifferentiated list, Harvi is designed to bring forward a manageable set of options, help schedule around commitments, and provide relevant attendee context before an experience. That can lower uncertainty, but it does not guarantee that you will know someone at every event.

• Broad discovery. Organizers can publish many kinds of local and virtual events in one recognizable marketplace.

• Established registration. Ticket purchase, registration, and event communications are familiar to organizers and attendees.

• Free and paid options. People can find both free registrations and paid tickets, depending on the organizer.

• Organizer infrastructure. The platform supports event creation, promotion, payments, and attendee management.

• Discovery can become a firehose. A large catalog still leaves you to decide what fits your tastes, energy, and schedule.

• A listing is not personal matching. The marketplace does not function as an ongoing understanding of who you are.

• The social leap is still yours. Registration gets you access, but meeting compatible people and following up are separate steps.

• A ticket is not a connection. Attending many unrelated events does not automatically produce the repetition friendship needs.

Use Eventbrite when you know what you want to attend or want broad event discovery and a familiar registration path.

Choose Harvi when the goal is bigger than a ticket: a fitting plan, compatible social context, and less calendar coordination.

The two can be complementary. Some experiences Harvi curates may be ticketed through Eventbrite or another organizer platform. Harvi's role is helping decide what fits and supporting the social plan around it.
