This Privacy Policy explains how Harvi collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit heyharvi.com, join the waitlist, contact us, or use Harvi services when they become available.

Harvi is currently preparing for launch. Some product features described here may apply when early access or app experiences become available.

We collect information you choose to provide and information that helps us operate the website and waitlist.

• Waitlist information, such as your first name, email address, and ZIP code.
• Communications you send to us, including emails, feedback, questions, and support requests.
• Basic technical information, such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, referring pages, and approximate location derived from technical signals.
• Product information you may provide later, such as interests, availability, preferences, city, profile details, conversation context, safety reports, and event or community activity.

We use personal information to operate Harvi, communicate with you, improve the product, and keep the experience safe and useful.

• To manage the waitlist and notify you about early access, launch updates, and product news.
• To understand where interest in Harvi is coming from so we can prioritize launch markets.
• To personalize recommendations, introductions, communities, events, and social plans when Harvi services become available.
• To respond to questions, provide support, enforce our terms, prevent abuse, and protect users.
• To analyze and improve our website, product experience, messaging, and safety systems.

If you choose to connect calendars on an iOS or Android device, Harvi asks for calendar permission and reads the calendars you select to understand when you may be free or busy. The integration is optional, and you can change your selections, disconnect it, or revoke permission in your device settings.

Before anything is sent to Harvi, the app converts external calendar events into merged busy or tentative time ranges. An intact Harvi-managed entry may carry Harvi’s own event identifier so its calendar copy does not conflict with the same active RSVP and retained entries still count as busy after that RSVP ends. Harvi also syncs limited source information needed to operate the integration, such as the device platform, an installation identifier, time zone, selected-calendar count, covered dates, and last sync time. Harvi does not upload external event titles, descriptions, notes, locations, attendees, calendar or account names, provider credentials, device calendar IDs, or device event IDs.

When calendar integration is connected, the app may write plans you mark as going or maybe in Harvi to the destination calendar you choose. It uses Harvi event information already held by Harvi, such as the event title, time, time zone, venue, and public Harvi link. The external event identifier remains on your device; Harvi stores only its own event identifier and reconciliation status needed to avoid duplicates and respect entries you manually edit or delete.

Calendar source records that have not synced or changed for 30 days are deleted from Harvi along with their busy or tentative ranges. A minimal managed-event state may remain while the related Harvi RSVP is active so a later writer device still respects a manual edit or deletion; it is cleared when that RSVP ends or the Harvi event or account is deleted. If you explicitly forget or disconnect an installation, Harvi keeps only that installation identifier and the time it was revoked until your account is deleted, solely to prevent that forgotten installation from reconnecting with old local data.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers and partners who help us operate Harvi, such as hosting, analytics, email, database, security, support, and infrastructure providers.

We may also share information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, to prevent fraud or abuse, or as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets.

Harvi is designed to learn your interests and preferences so it can make better recommendations. As the product develops, we intend to treat personal context carefully and distinguish between information used privately with Harvi and information you choose to make shareable for introductions, communities, or events.

We are building Harvi so users can have practical controls over their information, including the ability to update, delete, or manage personal context where appropriate.

You can ask us to update or delete waitlist information by contacting us. You can also unsubscribe from marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in those messages, when available.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights, such as rights to know, access, correct, delete, or limit certain uses of your personal information. We will respond to privacy requests as required by applicable law.

We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No online service can guarantee perfect security, but we work to limit what we collect, protect what we keep, and dispose of information when it is no longer needed.

Harvi is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can take appropriate action.
